Kocsis Károly – fafaragó és nemezelő inas

Körülbelül 20 éve költöztem le Pestről vidékre, ahol egy faházat kezdtem el építeni, ekkor szerettem meg a fát, mint anyagot. Egy fafaragó iparművész tanított évekig, így lett belőlem fafaragó inas. Azért csak inas, nem pedig mester, mert én nem tudok – és nem is akarok – szobrokat készíteni. Én csak segítek a fának érvényesülni, nem pedig „erőszakkal” megalkotni belőle azt, amit elképzelek vagy amit látok benne. A gyapjúval, mint anyaggal 7 éve kezdtem el foglalkozni, amikor beiratkoztam egy nemezelő tanfolyamra. Itt ismertem meg a páromat, aki egyben tanárom volt a tanfolyamon. A nemezelés egy olyan ősi technika, amely során az ember úgymond a semmiből alkothat meg valamit. Saját tenyésztésú birkáim gyapjúit használom fel alkotásaim során úgy, hogy a mai kor emberének igényeit is kielégítsem. Szeretném elérni, hogy az emberek szeressék meg újra a fát, mint anyagot és szeretnék nagyobb tárgyakat is elkészíteni.

Károly Kocsis- Carver-Lehrling

Vor etwa 20 Jahren zog ich nach unten von Pest auf dem Lande, wo ich damit begonnen, ein Baumhaus zu bauen, und ich wollte das Holz als Material. Ein Holzschnitzerei-Künstler hat mich gelehrt, eine Anzahl von Jahren wurde so ein Lehrling Carver. Da nur ein Lehrling, anstatt ein Meister, denn ich weiß nicht- und Sie nicht selbst tun wollen – Skulpturen. Ich kann nur helfen, Ihren Erfolg mit dem Baum, anstatt "zwingen" erarbeiteten daraus, dass stelle ich, oder was ich darin sehe. Die Wolle wie Material vor 7 Jahren begann ich zu bewältigen, wenn ich in eingeschrieben einem das Gegenstück, das auch der Lehrer des Kurses war.
Der Filz ist eine alte Technik, die während der Azember sozusagen von Grund auf neu bilden können. Ich benutze meine Lamb Wolle sich ihre eigenen hinsichtlich Hu Jintao auf die Bedürfnisse der modernen Zeit mit Hilfe eines Mannes. Ich möchte zu erreichen ist, dass die Menschen lieben das Holz als Material und möchte weitere Artikel.

Károly Kocsis – wood carver apprentice and felt artist

I moved from Budapest to the countryside about 20 years ago, where I started to build my
own wood house. I fell in love with the wood as a material those times. A woodcarver
craftsman had taught me for years, this is how I became a woodcarver apprentice. I stayed
only an apprentice as I can not and I do not want to make sculptures. I just help the tree to
show itself without forcing it to turn to something I see in it. I started to deal with the wool as
a material 7 years ago when I took a felting course. I met my partner here who was the teacher
of the training course. Felting is such an ancient technique where you can create something
from nothing. For my works I use the wool from my own sheep in a way to satisfy the
demands of today’s men. I would like to help people to love the wood as a material again.
Later I would like to make bigger objects, as well.
